San Jose Limousines Service Terms and Conditions
*OUR INSURANCE COVERAGE IS $1.5 MILLION. WE ABIDE BY SAN JOSE (SJC) AIRPORT, SAN FRANCISCO (SFO) AIRPORT & OAKLAND (OAK) AIRPORT RULES & REGULATIONS, AS WELL AS UNDER PUC GUIDELINES.

*No-Shows:

A no-show fee equal to the cost of trip plus applicable waiting time, tolls, parking, and gratuity will be charged when the passenger fails to show at the specified location for which a reservation has been made.  If you do not see your chaffeur at a certain pick-up point, do not leave the spot before calling the dispatch room (must call the number on your confirmation), we will connect you together. If you leave without calling, you will be charged for the full price of the ride. If we do not hear from you, the driver will wait up to fifteen minutes for regular pickups and up to thirty (or sixty) minutes at airport pickups after the designated pickup time. Then the driver will call the dispatch room. We will then try reaching you by calling your cell phone, home phone, or contact person’s phone. Depending on the nature of the pickup, we may even call your name on the airport intercom paging system. If we don’t receive a response, we will then release the limo, and you will be charged for a No-Show, which will be the full price of the ride. If you authorize the waiting time, the chaffeur will wait up to two hours. If we do not hear from you after the designated time frame, we will contact you again. If no contact is made, you will be billed for the ride plus the waiting time. Therefore, a “No-Show” fee is equal to the trip cost plus applicable wait time fee. If you can’t locate your driver, please call the number on your confirmation to avoid a “No-Show” fee.

*Cancellation, For Sedans:

San Jose Limousines allows you to cancel via email or by phone 12 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time or (must call # on your confirmation) to cancel the sedan reservation without any fees. If possible, a 24 hours notice is requested. If you cancel the limo or sedan less than four hours before your scheduled pick-up time, you will be billed for the full price of the ride. We ask that you inform us of any changes in your schedule in advance, so we can avoid unnecessary aggravations. No-Show will be billed at full rate. *Cancellation, For Stretch Limousines, Vans and SUVs:

San Jose Limousines RECOMMENDS a minimum of 7 days notice for cancellation of all charter arrangements. If you cancel the Limousine after the 7 day grace period or cancel on-location you will be charged for the full price of the ride. While renting a stretch limousine by hourly service, there will be no charges for the first 15 minutes prior to your last drop off location contract time. After 15 minutes, you will be billed at our full hourly rate.

*Damages Resulting From Your Actions:

San Jose Limousines will bill you (as a client) or (as a passenger) the cost of cleaning the vehicle as a result of you or your authorized party getting sick in the car. You also agree and acknowledge to pay all the related fees to get the vehicle back to its normal previous condition. You could always avoid this charge by asking the driver to pull over safely on the side of the road or in any service area so you can refresh yourself. You also agree to pay for all and any damages to our vehicles arising out of, or in any way connected to you or your authorized party, regardless of whether such damages are based on contract, tort, strict liability, or other theories of liability, and also regardless of whether San Jose Limousines was given actual or constructive notice that damages were possible. These damages include but are not limited to burned seats, any technical or mechanical failure to the equipment inside the vehicle, missing items, or any bodily damages caused to the outside of the vehicle during you or your authorized party’s accommodations. In the event of any physical damage to the San Jose Limousines vehicles caused by the customer or any passenger, there will be a minimum additional charge of $300.00 for the repair and/or cleaning of the limousine.  This includes anyone getting sick, as well as vehicle damages caused from smoking, burns, vomiting, scratches, broken glassware, stains, wrestling in vehicles, kicking windows or mirrors, etc. in the limousine.

*Smoking:

No smoking in any San Jose Limousines vehicle. The entire fleet is non-smoking. If during an event or any other Limo service the client has to smoke, our drivers have been instructed to find a safe area to allow our customer to do so. Any passenger caught smoking in the vehicle will be asked to put out the cigar/cigarette, and the customer will be subject to a $100 charge for each incident.

*Reservation Method:

Reservations can be booked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Reservations, and changes or cancellations to reservations can be made by calling our reservation numbers. Reservations may be accepted up to 24 hours in advance. Less than 24-hour notice is subject to availability. We suggest that the customer supplies San Jose Limousine’s toll free number to all traveling passengers.   

*Deposit Policy:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on reservations for proms, weddings, nights on the town, and all hourly charters. A credit card authorization form and liability form is also necessary before reservations are accepted.

*Payments:

Payment is reqired at the time of service. Accepted payments include cash, credit card, or a pre-approved private check. We take Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover Credit Cards. Also, Corporate Accounts may be billed on a semi-monthly basis. Invoices are due upon receipt

*Special Amenities:

Our professional chauffeurs provide free cold soft drinks, bottled water, and a bag of ice and snack items for all travelers. The current day’s newspaper is also available in every vehicle.

*San Jose Limousines is not responsible for:

San Jose Limousines is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic conditions, mechanical problems, airlines and/or airport problems, or non-fault automobile accidents. They are also not responsible for lost or damaged cash, jewelry, cell phones, computers, and items left in San Jose Limousines vehicles.

*Language:

Profanity of any kind is not tolerated in or around the San Jose Limousines vehicles.

*Max Capacity:  

Drivers may not exceed the number of passengers stated on your contract. Exceeding the number of passengers is a violation of Ca state law and our insurance guidelines, and is a safety issue.

*Waiting Time:

No charges for the first 15 minutes at the Departure pick-up. After the 15 minutes, you will be charged at our full hourly rate.

*Extra Stop:

$15.00 for an additional stop in the same city, within a radius of 5 miles.

*San Jose Limousines Charters Agreement:

All charters require our service agreement to be signed and handed to the Limo driver before starting the Limo Service, or Faxed to (408)223-1200.
